PSALMS 139:16-17 NIV
“Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them!”
We are still dealing with the personality of God.
God said to Eli “I will raise up for myself a faithful priest, who will do according to what is in my heart and mind, (1 Sam 2:3).”
This shows that God has a heart and mind (though not physically).
Let me be quick to assert that these are anthropomorphic terms.
That’s depicting the human characteristics of God.
God is greater than the human terms we use to describe him.
God is infinite.
God is Spirit.
Solomon said: “He has made everything beautiful and appropriate in its time. He has also planted eternity [a sense of divine purpose] in the human heart [a mysterious longing which nothing under the sun can satisfy, except God]—yet man cannot find out (comprehend, grasp) what God has done (His overall plan) from the beginning to the end (Eccl 3:11 AMP).”
How is it possible for such a complex, great and infinite God to have time for us?
The great and infinite God can dispatch the affairs of this universe in the twinkling of an eye, thus giving him plenty of time for us.
He has more than enough resources to satisfy the world’s needs.
God has a great and particular interest in us and his thoughts, plans and purposes for us are designed to bring us to a fruitful end.
In a fitting (kairos) time he will perfect everything concerning you.
