WORD FOR TODAY – RUTH‬ ‭4‬:‭13‬

 ‭‭RUTH‬ ‭4‬:‭13‬ ‭AMP

“So Boaz took Ruth, and she became his wife. And he went in to her, and the Lord enabled her to conceive, and she gave birth to a son.”

We now get to the moment when Boaz takes Ruth to be his wife.
All the Bible says is: “So Boaz took Ruth and she became his wife.”
Details of the wedding are not communicated in Scripture.
After all, the main thrust of the story is about a Moabitess, a penniless widow, over whom hung a curse, finding favour and salvation through the intervention of a particular man (Boaz).
The law of Israel barred Ruth’s way to happiness and prosperity until grace made itself known in the form of Boaz.
Law knows no mercy; it demands only justice.
Grace, however, looks for a way to satisfy the law’s demands and bring happiness and joy to the guilty.
Like Ruth, we had no legal claim to God’s blessings. However, because Christ, the heavenly Boaz, has entered our lives, cleared all our debt, and made Himself responsible for our eternal future, we are content to seek no glory for ourselves but to ascribe it all to Him. Any glory we receive is a reflected glory; it comes to us from Him.
May the ever abounding mercy of God and the riches of His grace lift you to another level of His glory.
Receive Divine enablement to achieve anything you couldn’t achieve before this day.

SHALOM: God’s universal blessings to you.
