📖 *Psalm 42:1 (AMP)*
“As the deer pants longingly for the water brooks, so my soul pants longingly for You, O God.”
🍀 *Reflection & Application*
This imagery speaks of desperation and dependence. A deer in dry terrain cannot survive without water. Likewise, our souls cannot thrive without God.
Delight grows where hunger exists. If we feel spiritually dry, it is often because we have been drinking from lesser streams. God invites us to rediscover holy longing.
In seasons of revival, hunger precedes glory. When a church begins to thirst for God more than programs or personalities, the Spirit moves powerfully.
🌟 *Gold Nuggets*
•Spiritual hunger is a gift — not a weakness.
•The depth of your longing determines the depth of your encounter.
