Open yourself up for God to fill you with his Love, Joy, and Peace. These are glorious gifts that flow from God’s awesome presence to his people. Although we are earthen vessels, made of the dust of the earth, God our creator created us to be filled with heavenly contents. Being human, we are subject to human frailties. However, we must know and understand that our weakness is not an impediment to being filled with his Spirit. On the contrary, it provides an opportunity for his power and light to shine more brightly into our lives. As you go through this day, trust that God has armed you with every capacity to succeed. In one of Paul’s prayers for the Ephesian church he prayed: “… that out of his [God’s] glorious riches he may strengthen you [them] with power through his Spirit in your [their] inner being (Ephesians 3:16 NIV).” May it be so in our lives in Jesus’s name. Don’t waste your energy wondering whether you are adequate for today’s journey. His Spirit within you is sufficient enough to handle any challenge or situation day may throw at you. Have a weekend filled with God’s grace and power. SHALOM: God’s all encompassing blessings to you.
