Stop trying to work things out before their time. Everything has it’s proper time. We are subject to times and circumstances over which we have little or no control. Accept your human limitations and live one day at a time. When something comes to your attention, ask God whether or not it is part of the day’s agenda. If it isn’t, release it into his care and go on about your duties. God sovereignly predetermines all of life’s activities. When you follow this prac-tice, there will be a beautiful simplicity about your life: a time for everything, and everything in its time. A life lived close to God with confidence trust and dependence on him is not complicated. When your focus is on him and his ever abiding presence with you, many things that used to trouble you will lose their sting. The world around you may messy and confusing, but God is still on his throne. He is absolutely in control of the universe. He is not an “absentee landlord.” Remember: he has overcome the world. In him you have Peace. SHALOM: God’s all encompassing blessings to you
