Let’s begin the week by acknowledging that God is our Father and the Potter; we are the (his) clay. This metaphor (potter and clay), points to the sovereignty of God as the one who molds humanity. He created and designed us before the foundation of the world. He arrange the events of each day to form us into this preconceived pattern.
His everlasting love is at work in every event of our lives. There are days when our will and his will may flow smoothly together. On some other days we may feel as if we are swimming upstream, against the current of God’s purposes. During days like that let’s stop and seek his face. The oppositions and challenges we may encounter may be from him, or it may be from the evil one. Let’s not be quick to blame Satan for everything we go through. Just like the sun to the plant, the challenges may be necessary for our growth and development. May the Spirit of God help and guide us through treacherous waters. May the difficult circumstances mold us into individuals he wants us to be. Moreover, know that as our Father, God has a meaningful relationship with us.
