PHILIPPIANS 4:13 AMP
“I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfill His purpose—I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace.]”
GOLD NUGGETS
Knowing your weakness is good. It is also very good to know the source of your strength and power. That keeps you looking to God – your Strength. Abundant life is not necessarily health and wealth; it is living in continual dependence on God. Such faith is a stimulant to propel you when you face trials. Christ is the One who supplies you strength to do all things. It is important to note that the emphasis is not so much on achievement as it is on willingness to allow Christ’s power to sustain you in difficulty and scarcity, and to enhance the enjoyment of abundance and prosperity. Instead of trying to fit this day into a preconceived mold, relax and be on the lookout for what Christ is doing. This mindset will free you to enjoy him and to find what he has planned for you to do. This is far better than trying to make things go according to your own plan. Don’t be too hard on yourself. Lighten up. You have God on your side. He can equip you to do absolutely anything, as long as it is his will. Union with Christ is the secret of being content (v. 12) and the source of Paul’s abiding strength. The more difficult your day, the more he yearns to help you. If fear and anxiety entangles and traps you in your own thoughts, look to Jesus. Call on him. He will break you free and offer you divine assistance. May his grace sustain and empower you in every situation. SHALOM: God’s all encompassing blessings to you
Yes we can do all things through his power
