“The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone; the Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes. The Lord has done it this very day; let us rejoice today and be glad.”

GOLD NUGGETS

The capstone was probably the most important stone in a building. It could have been a large stone over a doorway like a lintel; a keystone, holding up an arch; or a cornerstone, at the base of perpendicular walls. Jesus used these words to describe himself. Although he was rejected by many people, he is the capstone, the key part of the structure (Mark 12:10; 1 Peter 2:6-7). May this be said of you. May this become real in your own life. From a rejected stone, may you become the significant stone that holds everything together in your family, community and the world at large. Obviously, the reality of this can only be done by Lord. The day of rejoicing can only be made possible by God’s deliberate deliverance and victory in your life. May the full fulfilment of that day come to reality in your life – a particular day when God would have turned your mourning into dancing. We can celebrate the goodness of the Lord in advance, with faith and confidence that God will make that day come into being.
Begin the day with open hands of faith, ready to receive all the blessings that he has deposited in this day for you. “Blessed be the Lord, Who daily loads us with benefits, The God of our salvation!
