Trust is a firm belief in the reliability, truth, or ability of someone or something. The Lord desires that our hearts will be undivided, fully devoted to him and choosing him daily above all else. Trust God one day at a time. This will keep you close to him and responsive to his will. Trust is not a natural response, especially for those who have been deeply wounded. God’s Spirit within you is your resident teacher. He will teach you in this supernatural endeavour. Yield to his gentle touch. Be sensitive to his prompting. Exert your will to trust him in all circumstances. Don’t let your need to understand distract you from his presence. He will equip you to get through this day victoriously. Tomorrow is busy worrying about itself; don’t get tangled up in its worry-webs. Trust God. In the words of David, ““¶Blessed [fortunate, prosperous, and favored by God] is the man who makes the Lord his trust, … (Psalms‬ ‭40‬:‭4‬ ‭AMP‬‬). The prophet Jeremiah said: “Blessed [with spiritual security] is the man who believes and trusts in and relies on the Lord And whose hope and confident expectation is the Lord (Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭AMP‬‬).” As you confidently trust him, may he bless and favour you greatly.
