“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

You are God’s for all time. Nothing can separate you from his love. God through Christ, out of his great love and mercy has ministered his very life in you. The opening phrase: “For I am convinced”: denotes a full, strong, and affectionate persuasion, arising from the experience of the strength and sweetness of his divine love. The love that exists between God and true believers is through Christ. He is the Mediator of our love. It is in and through him that God loves us and we dare love God. This is the ground of the stedfastness of the love. God rests in his love (Zeph. 3:17), because Jesus Christ, in whom he loves us, is the same yesterday, today, and for ever. When your mind goes into neutral and your thoughts flow freely, you tend to feel anxious and alone. To get your mind back into gear, just turn towards God and bring yourself and your problems into his loving presence. Know and be persuaded that it is impossible to get beyond God’s loving reach. However controversial this may sound in your ears, believe that God has justified you. Scripture says: “Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies (Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭33‬ ‭NIV‬‬).” Moreover we read that: “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭1‬ ‭NIV)‬‬.” You’re loved by God and nothing in creation can separate you from his love.
