ZECHARIAH 2:13 AMP
“Be still before the Lord, all mankind; for He is roused (raised up) from His holy habitation [in response to His persecuted people].”
GOLD NUGGETS
God meets us in the stillness of our soul. It is there that he seeks to commune with us. A person who is open to God’s presence is exceedingly precious to him. The Psalmist wrote: “For the eyes of the Lord move to and fro throughout the earth so that He may support those whose heart is completely His … .” God sees you and he sees the efforts you put into trying to find him. Our mutual search results in joyful fulfillment. Stillness of soul is increasingly rare in this world filled with noise and speed. God is pleased with your desire to create a quiet space where you can meet, commune and fellowship with him. Don’t be discouraged by the difficulty of achieving this goal. Continue to seek him. David said “You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you, in a dry and parched land where there is no water (Psalms 63:1 NIV).” According to the Psalmist, a person who seeks the Lord and mediates on his word “is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers (Psalms 1:3 NIV).” Have a pleasant and prosperous day. SHALOM: God’s all encompassing blessings to you
