INTRODUCTION
Grace is a gift from God. Grace entreats favour upon your life. Grace supplies us with favour and the capacity to do more for God. Grace is the medium through which we are empowered to live our Christian lives. Since we are ill-equipped, grace comes to fill the vacuum in our lives and makes us fit for the purposes of God. God’s grace empowers us to be better than who we are and to do more for God. God’s Grace makes us worthy recipients of spiritual gifts, power and blessings that ordinarily we would not have been entitled to. To be an achiever therefore, we must acknowledge our limitations and ask God to pour out His grace upon us. Grace redeems us so we can become vessels of honour in the House of God. We must therefore pray for grace to abound on us so we can be worthy ambassadors of God.
WORD OF REVELATION
- Grace for salvation is a free gift which comes from God. The more we preach the Gospel, the more God distributes His grace upon all. Since grace abounds when there is constant and repeated preaching of the Word of God, we must go out into the world and preach the message of salvation to all (Ephesians 2:7-8).
- Every born again believer is given a measure of grace with gifts and callings. God expects you to preach, make intercession or serve in the Church in the several groups in the Church. Leveraging on your calling or gift, you can serve as an usher, cleaner, choirester, instrumentalist, elder etc in the Church (Ephesians 4:6-10).
- Grace enables us to do more and become achievers. Using the grace given to you is the only way to grow your grace to the full measure of Christ who is the epitome, embodiment and fullnes of Grace (Ephesians 4:11-13; Romans 12:3).
- Our behaviour or lifestyle can hinder the grace of God. Lying, stealing, anger, malice, gossips, unforgiveness, being lazy in prayer and faith can kill the Grace given upon your life. We must therefore be mindful as to how we live our lives and conduct ourselves (Ephesians 4:25-32).
