WORD FOR TODAY – PSALMS‬ ‭104‬:‭27‬

PSALMS‬ ‭104‬:‭27‬-‭28‬ ‭NIV‬‬

All creatures look to you to give them their food at the proper time. When you give it to them, they gather it up; when you open your hand, they are satisfied with good things.

Now we consider God’s might and power preservation. No creature has power to preserve itself. “Can papyrus grow tall where there is no marsh?” asked Job (Job 8.11).
Both man and animal would perish if there were no food. There would be no food if the earth were not refreshed with rain. We came from God’s hands and we remain in God’s hands. No wonder Daniel said to the godless Belshazzar: “You did not honour the God who holds in his hand your life and all your ways” (Dan. 5:23).
Scripture teaches that God is not only the Creator of the world but also the Sustainer and Preserver. God is not “an absentee many. He is active in the universe. He is active in sustaining all that he has created. He upholds all things by the word of his power (Heb 1:3). As you look expectantly to him, may God feed you at the proper time
May today be that proper time  May God open his hand and satisfy you with good things. May he who created you, sustain and preserve you
Remain Blessed
Shalom
